Steyning and District U3AWeb System
Setting your Password when you first Log in
The first time you use this site you will need two basic details to enter the member section of U3AWeb:
- your U3A Membership Number
- your email address which you have previously given to Steyning U3A
Your email address should be the one that has been used to send you all recent updates and U3A news.

To Log in first time:
In order to choose your own password you will need to go through the “Forgotten Password” process.
- Open the Steyning and District U3A web page: https://steyninganddistrictu3a.org.uk/
- Click on “Login”
and then the “Forgotten Password” option on the gold bar below the U3A logo:
- You should come to the “Request Password Change” page:
- Enter your email address and your membership number.
Click ‘Submit’
- The system will email a temporary password to your email address. You will see this message:
- Check your email to find the password which has been sent to you.
Use this to log in - back on the U3A site click ‘Home’ and ‘Login’.
Enter your membership number and the password just sent.
- You should reach the ‘Password Change Request’ page:
Here you should enter:
- ‘Previous Password’ – this is (again) the password just emailed to you.
- ‘New password’ - of your own choosing (keep a careful note of this)
- Enter your new password again to ‘Confirm’
Click “OK” and you should then be fully logged in.
You should see your name on the right hand corner of the white box at the top of the page.
This new password is the one you should use in future but you can always choose to change it at any point.
